Will it fit my shower?+
Yes, if your shower head threads onto a ½" NPT arm, which is the standard in North America, the UK and most of Europe. That covers fixed heads, handheld hoses and rainfall arms. Two adapters for ¾" and M22 fittings are in the box.
Does it reduce water pressure?+
The 15-stage cartridge is rated for 2.5 gallons per minute, the same flow as a standard head, so pressure is unchanged for almost everyone. If your home is already below 40 psi, run the 30-second prime with the head removed.
How long does a cartridge last?+
About 90 days or 10,000 gallons for a household of two. Very hard water shortens that to 60–75 days; the clear window shows the media darkening as it saturates. Ritual Club sends the next one before you need it.
What does it actually remove?+
Chlorine and chloramine, heavy metals such as lead and copper, rust and sediment, and the odour they carry. It softens the feel of the water by binding scale-forming minerals, though it is not a whole-house softener and won't change your water's grain count.
Is the filter really organic?+
Yes. All fifteen stages use organic or naturally sourced media: coconut-shell activated carbon, plant-derived vitamin C, natural mineral and tourmaline balls, and food-grade calcium sulfite. The housing is BPA- and phthalate-free with no synthetic resins or dyes, and the packaging is organic cotton and FSC recycled board. Each batch is certified and the certificate ships in the box.
